Biography

Professor Dr. Jörg Fliege is a German mathematician and operational researcher, currently Professor of Operational Research at the University of Southampton. His research spans multi-objective optimization, stochastic programming, space trajectory analysis, and applications of operational research in engineering, defense, and computational science. With over 140 peer-reviewed publications, leadership roles in CORMSIS and international advisory panels, and numerous collaborations with industry and government, he is recognized as a leading scholar and innovator in operational research.
