Overview

The School of Humanities, Social, and Natural Sciences at New Uzbekistan University (NewUU) is a dynamic academic community committed to excellence in education, research, and international collaboration. Our core mission is based on the belief that a deep, integrated understanding of human experience, societal structures, and the natural world is essential for addressing modern challenges.
The School fosters an environment of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity, offering a range of B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs through the Mathematics, Economics, Education, and English Departments. We are dedicated to equipping students with the profound theoretical knowledge and critical analytical skills required for meaningful contributions in academia, government, or industry.Regional and Global Engagement Along with Nazarbayev University and AUCA, NewUU is a founding member of the Central Asian Economic Association (CAEA). Established in 2025 with active participation of the School, CAEA is a unified platform to advance economic research, education, policy advice, and collaboration across the region. The association is committed to inclusivity, transparency, and ethical research, fostering dialogue among academics, policymakers, and the private  rector through conferences, workshops, and international partnerships. To provide full international experience, students benefit from close academic relations and world-class events, including conferences, seminars, and open lectures, hosted in close cooperation with institutions such as the Peking University, HKUST, HKUST Guangzhou, SWUFE, University of Ghent, MIT, University of Chicago, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Southern Methodist University, among many others.
