School of Computing

Dean’s Message:

Welcome to the School of Computing at New Uzbekistan University.

Computing is reshaping the world. Artificial intelligence, software systems, cybersecurity, robotics, and data driven technologies now define economic and social progress. Universities that aspire to lead must do more than teach existing knowledge. They must help create the future. This is the mission of the School of Computing at New Uzbekistan University. As part of Uzbekistan’s presidential university, our School was founded to deliver
world class education, produce impactful research, and develop leaders for the digital age. We combine rigorous theoretical foundations with hands-on, industry
relevant education and innovation.

Our strength lies in our people and our research culture. Our faculty consists of internationally trained professors with strong research records and global academic and industry experience. In addition to several internal and national research grants, our School is currently involved in an international research grant carried out in collaboration with leading and highly respected universities in China. Our professors teach to international standards and work closely with students as mentors and collaborators.

We provide advanced infrastructure to support both education and research. Our facilities include jointly established Apple and Huawei Labs, with Apple and Huawei certified courses. Through our partnership with Yandex and the Yandex ML School, some of our students engage with large scale, real world machine learning systems. Our AI Cluster Laboratory hosts the strongest university AI computing infrastructure in Uzbekistan, featuring 16 NVIDIA H200 GPUs, supporting both coursework and cutting edge research.

Beyond campus, we contribute at the national level through initiatives such as the Day of AI, which aims to increase digital and artificial intelligence awareness among school teachers across Uzbekistan.  We seek ambitious and curious students ready to challenge themselves and make an impact. At the School of Computing, excellence is expected, innovation is encouraged, and the future is built.
