PhD and DSc Programmes

A series of scientific seminars are planned for PhD and DSc students, as well as independent researchers, at the New Uzbekistan University to present and discuss their ongoing scientific projects.

These seminars are aimed at assessing the relevance, novelty and practical significance of each dissertation, providing methodological assistance to researchers, and developing knowledge exchange and cooperation within the academic community.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 28, 2025 PQ-151, two independent scientific councils, awarding scientific degrees, began operating at the New Uzbekistan University from July 7, 2025.

Scientific council numbered DSc.03/07.07.2025 FM/T.192.01, awarding the scientific degrees of Doctor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics and Mathematics and Technical Sciences. This council awards academic degrees in the following specialties:

03.01-Astronomy;
03.02-Astrophysics and space physics;
04.02-Theoretical physics;
01.07-Mathematical modeling. A set of numerical methods and programs;
