The Second International IT Summer School with South Korea’s DGIST Kicks Off at New Uzbekistan University

The second International IT Summer School, organized in collaboration with South Korea’s Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), has officially started at New Uzbekistan University with the participation of 11 DGIST students.

Throughout the program, selected young participants from across Uzbekistan will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in programming, artificial intelligence, graphic design, and other cutting-edge IT fields.

Beyond strengthening technical skills, the IT Summer School serves as a platform for cultural exchange, knowledge sharing, and deeper collaboration between the youth of Uzbekistan and South Korea.

For reference, DGIST is one of South Korea’s leading research universities and is ranked 370th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026.
