On 27 January, New Uzbekistan University welcomed a delegation from
(HIT) — one of the world’s most prestigious engineering and research universities. HIT is a member of China’s Ivy League, the C9 League.

Ranked among the Top 50 universities globally in engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology is internationally renowned for its advanced research in aerospace technologies, artificial intelligence, materials science, and fundamental sciences. The delegation was led by HIT Vice President Professor Shen Yi and included 12 leading PhD-level researchers.

During the meetings, the parties discussed joint research initiatives, the expansion of student and faculty exchange programs, and prospects for long-term strategic cooperation. This partnership will create opportunities for New Uzbekistan University students and academic staff to gain knowledge and professional experience at some of the world’s most advanced engineering schools.

As part of the visit, a scientific cooperation seminar was held, during which HIT doctoral researchers and scholars from the Institute of Scientific Research of New Uzbekistan University engaged in in-depth academic discussions on contemporary scientific fields.

For reference: last year, 20 students from New Uzbekistan University completed an academic visit to Harbin Institute of Technology. This year, it is planned that 100 students will participate in the HIT Global Summer School program, further strengthening international academic mobility and cooperation.
