EdTech Hackathon Successfully Concludes at New Uzbekistan University

The event was aimed at developing practical artificial intelligence-based solutions for pressing challenges in the field of education.

Throughout the program, participating teams refined their projects with the support of mentors, presented their ideas, and received valuable experience and recommendations to advance to the next stage. Within the EdTech track alone, 1,300 participants registered, while more than 600 actively took part in the events.

Overall, as a result of the FinTech and EdTech ideathons and hackathons, 227 teams were selected for the acceleration stage. The program brought together more than 1,000 participants, over 20 real industry challenges, 25 SQB business mentors, and a prize fund of 500 million UZS.

In addition, FinTech and EdTech startups selected from the ideathon and hackathon stages will now continue their development through a 12-week intensive acceleration program. This phase is designed to further strengthen ideas, transform startup concepts into practical products, and prepare them for the market.

This initiative once again demonstrated New Uzbekistan University’s consistent commitment to supporting youth innovation, the startup ecosystem, and the development of practical technological solutions.
