Coordination of Artificial Intelligence Cluster Activities

The Artificial Intelligence Cluster at New Uzbekistan University is a center for learning and innovation. Our main goal is to train students and fix real-world problems using technology. We aim to graduate over 200 experts in AI and robotics every year. Beyond teaching, we work on big industry projects, such as saving energy for trains, stopping bank fraud, and creating an "Uzbek LLM" for our local language. We support this work with powerful equipment, offering 16 advanced NVIDIA H200 GPUs for our researchers to use. By partnering with companies like Huawei and Yandex, we turn ideas into useful tools for Uzbekistan.

Talent Development & Education: The department is responsible for cultivating the next generation of AI specialists, aiming to graduate over 200 students annually (MSc/BSc) in the fields of AI and Robotics.

Enhancing National Research Capacity: The cluster drives innovation in priority areas such as Uzbek "LLM" (Large Language Models), Smart Cities, Cybersecurity, and Medicine. It focuses on building adaptive learning systems and analyzing agricultural fields through AI and robotics.

Delivering Industry-Grade Solutions: A key mandate is to solve complex industrial problems. Current projects include optimizing train operations for energy efficiency and developing fraud detection systems for financial transactions..

Industrial Automation: The unit works on automating industrial processes and transport flow optimization to increase efficiency and modernization across various sectors.

High-Performance Computing (HPC) Resources: The department offers access to a powerful computational infrastructure designed for deep learning and massive data processing.

Consulting & Solution Development: Beyond hardware, the cluster provides expert consulting to develop custom AI models and solutions.
