International Cooperation Department

The International Relations Department at New Uzbekistan University plays a pivotal role in the university’s rapid international development. Through partnerships with more than 50 universities across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, the department facilitates student exchanges, joint research initiatives, dual-degree programs, and premier summer schools at institutions such as Peking University, MIT, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

By welcoming high-level delegations from leading universities and professional organizations, and by hosting conferences, expert talks, and guest lectures, the department creates a vibrant culture of openness and dialogue. Its sustained efforts ensure that global engagement is not an exception, but an integral part of academic life at NewUU.

Core Values

Preparing, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of cooperation agreements, memoranda, and other arrangements on joint research, student exchanges, and academic partnerships with foreign and national higher education institutions, and regularly reviewing their alignment with the University’s strategic priorities.

Organizing and managing international mobility and exchange programs for students, faculty members, and administrative staff, including short-term visits, semester exchanges, and double-degree pathways.

Initiating and organizing international conferences, seminars, webinars, forums, and cultural exchange programs that enhance the University’s global visibility and academic engagement.

Preparing and submitting grant applications for international projects and consortia, and supporting the implementation of successful initiatives.
