Role Overview:
Lead and oversee the integration and development of the Career Center, academic research initiatives, student startups, and industrial cooperation programs. Drive collaboration between the university, industry partners, and government agencies to enhance student career opportunities, research impact, and innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Center Management:
Direct career services including job placement, internships, career counseling, and employer engagement;
Organize career fairs, workshops, and professional development events.
Research Coordination:
Support and facilitate faculty-led research projects and grant applications;
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships with external research organizations.
Startup & Entrepreneurship Development:
Build and nurture student startup ecosystem through incubation, acceleration, mentorship, and funding opportunities;
Foster entrepreneurial skills and innovation among students and researchers.
Industrial Cooperation:
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders and government bodies;
Align academic programs and research with industry needs to boost employability and technology transfer.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance university’s role in regional and national innovation systems;
Manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with various university departments.
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in higher education, innovation, or industry collaboration roles;
Strong understanding of academic research, career development, startup ecosystems, and industry partnerships;
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills;
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously;
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
