Biography

Dr. Ameen Shahid is a chemical engineer and academic with experience in catalysis, reaction engineering, and environmental chemistry. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, and previously held postdoctoral and research positions in Saudi Arabia and Germany.

He received his:

  1. Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), 2018
  2. M.Sc. in Advanced Materials and Processes from the same institution in 2012
  3. B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of the Punjab, Pakistan in 2009

NH₃-SCR catalysis, N₂O decomposition, direct benzene oxidation, mesoporous zeolites, catalyst deactivation, and environmental applications.
