Biography

Zulfiqar A. Khan is an academic and research leader in Nanoengineering & Energy Systems (NES®), known for building multidisciplinary research programs that connect advanced materials, thermofluids/heat transfer, tribology, corrosion science, and complex systems modelling. In 2015, he established the NanoCorr, Energy & Modelling (NCEM) Research Group, developing both on- and off-campus energy laboratories to strengthen applied research and energy resilience.

His innovation record includes multiple UK and international patents in condition monitoring, low-to-zero emissions energy technologies, and nanofluids, with renewable energy IP commercialised through industry partnership.
