Biography

Bobir Toshmatov is an Assistant Professor at New Uzbekistan University and a main researcher at the Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He holds a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Physical and Mathematical Sciences (2022) and earned his PhD in Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics from Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic in 2018. He also completed MSc and BSc degrees in Physics at the National University of Uzbekistan.

Prior to joining New Uzbekistan University, Dr. Toshmatov served as an adjunct professor at Webster University in Tashkent and held postdoctoral positions at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan and Silesian University in the Czech Republic. His research is focused on general relativity, black hole physics, gravitational waves, and alternative theories of gravity, with a special interest in exact solutions to field equations and electrodynamics.
